We manufacture and refurbish feedscrews, barrels and feed liners for the plastics, rubber and feed industries. We cover extrusion, injection moulding, blown moulding, compounding and recycling.
What we do
We manufacture new screws and barrels as direct replacements for your OEM parts, and we refurbish worn ones back to their original tolerances. We also manufacture feed liners and ancillary parts, such as screw tip assemblies, nozzles and breaker plates.
New screws from 20 mm to 180 mm diameter, any length, built to replace your OEM part.
Worn screws from 50 mm to 450 mm diameter, up to 6200 mm long, rebuilt to their original tolerances.
New extruder and injection barrels in nitrided steel or with a bimetallic bore.
We hone worn extruder barrels oversize, then refurbish the screw to suit the new bore.
Nitrided feed liners, grooved or plain, with straight or spiral grooves. Plain liners also come in bimetallic for a longer life.
We fit a short new sleeve to the worn end of injection barrels, in nitrided, bimetallic or H13 tool steel.
Our purpose-built 150 tonne press frees screws seized in barrels and liners stuck in their housings.
We measure wear at your works, draw up your parts and laser-align barrels and gearboxes.
We repair broken tie bars from injection moulding and die casting machines, typically in 10–14 working days.
